It has come to the attention of the management committee a number of fixed lines have been found at the warren recently. Fixed lines are baited rigs usually for carp or pike which are thrown into the lake and secured to the bankside vegetation. These lines are left in the lake overnight and checked the following day, any fish hooked are removed from the fishery. Anyone finding such fixed lines are asked to remove them from the water and hand them in to one of the bailiffs on duty.
